Yanis, who moved from Cuba to the U.S. at age 12 and to the Lakes Region shortly thereafter, exemplified early adaptability and resilience. Excelling academically, she graduated with honors from Laconia High School and went on to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice. Shortly after, she embarked on a life-changing adventure as a military spouse, supporting her husband through seven deployments and following him across four duty stations during his service.  Despite the challenges and changes that came with military life, Yanis’ commitment to her husband and two daughters remained unwavering.

Yanis’ work journey includes the Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office in Valdosta, GA as a booking clerk and translator, and Tesla as an inside energy advisor where she engaged with potential clients and worked diligently to understand the customers’ needs before and after the sale.  

Yanis assists The Insurance Outlet team with organizing and processing our daily download activities, policy changes, renewal quotes, and general customer service.  Yanis is actively pursuing her personal lines insurance license and will soon be advising and assisting clients in their purchase and retention of personal insurance policies.
