Here’s a sampling of ideas that our great staff and their families will be out enjoying over the next couple of months!

    1. Pick Your Own Pumpkin at Moulton Farm in Moultonborough, NH
      Pick your own pumpkin in the pumpkin patch. Enjoy fresh Cider Bellies Donuts from the stand with a variety of flavors while taking a free wagon ride around the farm.
    2. Sandwich Fair in Sandwich, NH
      The Sandwich Fair held annually on Columbus Day Weekend.
      This year it is October 9 -11th. Get your delicious fried dough or fair style sausages with onions and peppers. You will also find many different vendors. The fair also has a variety of farm animals to pet! Friday is for the kids with free admission and you can experience all of the rides for a special rate! Don’t miss out on the tractor pulls!
    3. Lake Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad in Laconia, NH
      Enjoy old-fashioned train rides of guided rail bike tours to see the fall foliage. They also offer Turkey Dinner Trains catered by Hart’s Turkey Farm. Dinner with a view!
    4. Apple Picking at Stone Mountain Farm in Belmont, NH
      Family-owned farm open from the end of August to Halloween that offers 40 varieties of apples. Visit their farm stand for pumpkins, gourds and local honey.
    5. Squam Lakes Science Center (Hiking, Nature, Animals, Exhibits) in Holderness, NH
      Trails are open daily and you can explore the wildlife exhibits and the hiking trails. Located in Holderness NH they also offer Lake Cruises on Squam Lake.
    6. Mount Washington Cruise in Weirs Beach, NH
      Experience Lake Winnipesaukee with a narrated scenic tour on the Mount Washington. Offering a variety of cruises in the fall, you will see the foliage like never before.
    7. Local Breweries and Wineries (Hermit Woods and Twin Barns) in Meredith, NH
      Visit Hermit Woods Winery voted the fourth best tasting room in America by USA Today. They use locally sourced fruit for their wine that encapsulates the flavors of fall like in their crabapple wine a family favorite at our Thanksgiving. Located in the heart of downtown Meredith.

      Get a locally brewed handcrafted beer in an 1850’s antique barn at Twin Barns Brewery. You can’t go wrong with the Lake Cruiser IPA!

    8. Enjoy all the fall foliage with a scenic drive along the Kancamangus Highway.  34.5 miles of breathtaking views from Lincoln, NH to Conway, NH.
    9. Disc Golf in Laconia, NH
      Get outside and Disc Golf! Jade Trace Disc Golf is located at Mystic Meadows and offers a nine hole par three course.
    10. Beans and Greens Farm Harvest Festival in Gilford, NH (10/7)
      Celebrate the fall farm harvest at Beans and Greens Farm. The offer a variety of food fresh from the fields and delicious baked goods. There is also plenty of fall activities to take part in like their corn maze, hay maze, pumpkin maze, tractor rides and animals!
